Designed for in-vehicle and in-building use, the Icom IC-SAT100M Fixed Mount Satellite PTT Radio operates on the Iridium satellite network to provide real-time push-to-talk communications anywhere on the planet. Unlike handheld satellite PTT radios, IC-SAT100M users do not need to stay outside for a clear view of the sky for a stable push-to-talk connection. The IC-SAT100M features a durable housing, large front-ported speaker, powerful 1500 mW audio output for clear communication in noisy environments, an RF unit antenna and built-in Bluetooth capability to support hands-free operation (optional accessory required).
Talkgroups and devices are easily managed via the free Iridium PTT Command Center web application. and with a VE-PG4 RoIP gateway, the IC-SAT100M can interconnect with an IP phone, WLAN, LTE, IDAS digital*, analog transceivers and other communication systems. Please contact us to learn more.

Installation In-Building or In-Vehicle
The IC-SAT100M PTT radio can be installed inside a building with the antenna unit (with RF unit) extended outside for a clear view of the sky.
In a Building
Using the power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, the main unit supplies power to the antenna unit through the LAN cable. Simply connect the PoE injector/switch to extend the distance between the main unit and the antenna unit.
(A 100 m LAN cable is sold separately).
In a Building
Simply attach the antenna on the roof. The IC-SAT100M PTT radio has Bluetooth® capability to support hands-free operation, while driving. The optional AH-40 antenna provides flexible antenna installation.
